Religious Activities

Olashore International School is a learning community that allows students to worship according to their faith, providing religious activities in the school which enable our students to develop spiritually and morally in keeping with their religious faith.

YOUTH SERVICE

A Youth Ecumenical service that is tailored to the needs of the students is held every Sunday between 7:30am and 8:30am at the school’s chapel under the supervision of the school’s chaplain, who is a priest.

CHRISTIAN STUDENTS’ FELLOWSHIP

All Christian students have their joint fellowship in the hall every Friday at 2:00pm prompt

ISLAMIC STUDIES

Islamic studies takes place at a consecrated place at the library top at 7.30am Sundays under the leadership of the school’s Imam, assisted by the Quranic instructor, who is also a cleric. Jumat service commences at 2:00pm every Friday at the same venue.

CATHOLIC MASS

The catholic students are given the opportunity to have their mass on Sundays at 7:30am, led by a missioner who is a Reverend Father.

MORAL INSTRUCTION

Aside of the religious services, our students also express their views and discuss topics that are relevant to contemporary society during whole-school moral instruction that is held every Sunday at 4:30pm in the hall, anchored by the school’s head of religious affairs.

STUDENTS’ INVOLVEMENT

The students take an active part in all religious services and coordinate major aspect of the services including praise and worship, scripture reading, preaching and ushering. This supports our leadership programme within the school and helps develop a sense of responsibility in participating students.
