The school provides a platform for the students to be involved in drama. The school drama troupe is reputed to have produced plays that have been staged in major cities across Nigeria. It also worthy of note that the students are also involved in ancillary areas of drama such as costuming, lighting and stage directing. We have also gained national recognition for our involvement in drama.
All our students have a chance to be involved in the various productions which hold within and outside the school including the annual school play. The annual play which is performed at the MUSON Centre in Lagos has been known to pull a large crowd including notable playwrights and actors and has also drawn the attention of the media. Not only do students get involved in the performance, they also extend the skills to other aspects of theatre such as costume, lighting, sounds and stage directing. Performing Nigerian works has allowed our students to develop a deep understanding of the Nigerian culture and history as they learn and immerse themselves in the historical period of the play.
